Enterprise-grade security, full control
A remote connection is established only with the details you share or with your consent, is end-to-end encrypted and can be ended at any time. This page describes our security infrastructure in detail.
Connection security
All data traffic between your computer and the connecting party is encrypted, and only the data you permit is transferred.
End-to-end encryption
Screen images, keyboard input, files and clipboard content are end-to-end encrypted; no intermediate point, including the relay server, can access the content.
Altunakar's own servers
Connections run through servers owned by Altunakar in Türkiye; no third-party remote desktop provider's infrastructure is used.
Permanent ID
A computer's ID is assigned once during installation and registered on the server as bound to that device; no other device can use this ID.
One-time password
The one-time password is renewed at every launch. After a session, you can invalidate the previous password immediately with Refresh password in the program.
No connection without your consent
A connection is established only with the ID and password you share, or when you select Accept on the request shown on your screen.
- You see who is connectedThroughout the session, a window on your screen shows the name and ID of the person connected.
- You manage the permissionsYou can manage mouse and keyboard, clipboard, audio, file and restart permissions individually.
- End instantlyYou can end the connection instantly with “Disconnect” or by closing the window.
- Unattended access only at your requestThe permanent password required for unattended access is set only by you, or by our technician at your request, and can be removed at any time.
The connecting technician's identity is verified
When an Altunakar technician connects, the connection window shows “Altunakar technician (verified)”. This verification is created with Altunakar's digital signature, specifically for your computer and for a limited time; it cannot be forged or used on any other computer.
The “verified” label
The person connected is a member of the Altunakar technical team. You can still monitor your permissions in the window and end the connection at any time.
The “Unverified connection” warning
The person connecting could not be verified as an Altunakar technician. If you do not recognize the connection request, select Dismiss and contact our support line.
Fraud warning. Altunakar will never contact you unprompted and ask to connect to your computer. Do not share your ID and password with anyone claiming to be from a bank, a courier company, a government agency or a technical service. If anything seems suspicious, end the call and contact our support line at +90 530 338 21 91.
Account and data security
The information stored in your account is protected with the same care.
Irreversible password storage
Your account password is stored on the server only as an irreversible hash (PBKDF2-SHA256, 600,000 iterations); nobody can view your password.
Encrypted address book
Connection passwords in the address book are stored on the server encrypted with AES-256-GCM.
Two-factor team sign-in
Technician accounts that access customer computers require a verification code in addition to the password to sign in. Personal accounts do not need this step.
Account separation
Only you can access the address book in your personal account, and personal accounts cannot access Altunakar's customer records.
Attempt limits
After repeated failed sign-in attempts, sign-in is temporarily suspended for the account and IP address concerned, preventing brute-force attacks.
Logged team connections
Every connection made by Altunakar technicians is logged with the person, device, date and duration.
Updates are verified
Digitally signed updates
The program accepts only versions digitally signed by Altunakar and verifies the integrity of the downloaded file with SHA-256.
Verifiable installation files
The version, size and SHA-256 value of each installation file are published on the Download page, so you can compare files you download manually against these values.
