Terms of use

By downloading or using the AltunakarDesk program or by creating an account, you accept the following terms.

1. Service

AltunakarDesk is a remote access program provided by Altunakar Bilgisayar İnşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret Ltd. Şti. ("Altunakar"). Downloading and using the program and creating a personal account are free of charge. Altunakar's paid technical support and maintenance services are agreed separately.

Receiving support (incoming connections) is always free and unlimited. Remote desktop connections started from an installation without a licence last 5 minutes; unlimited use, team features and support commitments are included in the paid subscription. Connections are established through Altunakar's servers. We strive to provide the service without interruption; however, temporary outages may occur due to maintenance, faults or security reasons.

2. Your account

  • When creating a personal account, you provide an accurate name and an email address that belongs to you.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password confidential. If you suspect unauthorized use of your account, change your password immediately and notify us.
  • You can delete your account at any time on the My account page.
  • Altunakar team accounts are issued only to Altunakar technicians, subject to administrator approval.

3. Acceptable use

You may use AltunakarDesk only to connect to computers that belong to you or for which you have the owner's explicit permission. In particular, the following are prohibited:

  • connecting or attempting to connect to a computer without its owner's knowledge and permission;
  • misleading third parties by posing as a bank, an institution, a technical service or Altunakar, as well as fraud and social engineering;
  • distributing malware, or copying or monitoring other people's data without permission;
  • overloading the service, attempting to circumvent security measures, or creating accounts in bulk or automatically.

In the event of use that violates these rules, Altunakar may close the account without notice and share the relevant records with the competent authorities.

4. License

AltunakarDesk is developed on the basis of the RustDesk software and is distributed under the terms of the GNU Affero General Public License version 3 (AGPL-3.0); the rights granted to you by this license remain unaffected. The name "AltunakarDesk" and the Altunakar logos belong to Altunakar.

5. Liability

The program is provided "as is". You are responsible for the actions you take on the computers you connect to and for the permissions you grant. To the extent permitted by law, Altunakar is not liable for indirect damage, loss of data or loss of profit arising from the use of, or inability to use, the program. Your statutory rights as a consumer remain unaffected.

6. Changes and termination

We may update these terms and will announce significant changes on this page. You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. How your personal data is processed is described in the privacy notice.
